Degree Requirements

Students pursuing an Associate Degree in Radio, TV and Film (RTVF) have six areas of specialization to choose from, and can take many paths. Although there is no one right way for everyone, the RTVF Department makes the following general recommendations for course sequencing.   The numbers listed after the course in the second gray column lists numbers (1-4).  We recommend   you take classes with the number (1) during your first semester,  (2) during your second semester and so on. If you see, (2, 3, 4) students are encouraged to enroll in repeat sections for 4 semesters for a full overview and experience of the course.

Please see a campus counselor for questions about your general education / transfer requirements. Do not hesitate to ask questions about your courses.  We are here to help guide you.  But we encourage you to plan ahead!
