Dr. Greg Chamberlain, Team Chair, began his tenure as the President of Bakersfield College July 1st, 2008. He spent the previous two and a half years as Vice Chancellor, Educational Services for the Kern Community College District, the multi-college district of which Bakersfield College is a part. Prior to this position, Dr. Chamberlain served as the Dean for Learning Resources and Information Technology for Bakersfield College, and also served in many other capacities including Director of Instructional Technology, Faculty Chair for the Computer Studies department, Director of Academic Computing, and Professor of Computer Studies.
Dr. Chamberlain earned a doctorate in Educational Technology from the University of Northern Colorado where he was also awarded the Graduate Dean’s Citation for Excellence. He holds a Master of Arts in Computer Education from Fresno Pacific University and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from California State University, Dominquez Hills.
