Knights Set To Host Mt. SAC in 2nd Round Playoff on Friday

The back-to-back PCAC South champion Knights have earned a spot in the CCCAA postseason tournament for the fourth consecutive season after going 26-5 overall and 10-0 in their conference.

The No. 5-seeded Knights earned a first round bye for the third straight year and will host No. 12 Mt. San Antonio College on Friday, February 24 at 7:00 p.m. in a second round game.

The Knights are having their best season since 2008-09 when they advanced to the state quarterfinals and finished with a 28-5 record. They will go into Friday's playoff game riding a team-best 12-game win streak.

Mount San Antonio, who finished third in the South Coast-North Conference with a 7-3 record (17-10 overall), comes into the game having won three of its last four games.

Mount San Antonio has won the previous three meetings with the last coming on November 16, 2013 in the championship game of the Knights Invitational tournament, an 80-70 Mountie victory.

Tickets to Friday's game are $12 for adults and $8 for students w/ID, faculty, staff, children under 12, and seniors.
