Knights Start PCAC Season With 5-0 Victory


The San Diego City College women's soccer team opened the 2016 PCAC schedule with a 5-0 home win over Imperial Valley in which five different Knights scored.

Rebecca Garcia Signs With William Jessup University.


Women's soccer player Rebecca Garcia has signed a letter of intent to play at William Jessup University. Garcia, who was named Pacific Coast Athletic Conference South Offensive Player of the Year in 2014, led the Knights in total points with 15. She was first on the team in assists (5) and was second in goals (10). She had a team-high three game-winning goals during the 2014 season. Knights Defeat Cuyamaca For 3rd Straight Win


A goal by Knights' forward Rebecca Garcia in the opening minute of the second half was all the Knights needed on Tuesday as they held on for the 1-0 home victory over Cuyamaca. The Knights, who have now won three straight and four of the last five, improved to 6-11-4 overall and 3-2 in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference.

Garcia's 2nd Half PK Gets SDCC A 1-1 Draw With MiraCosta


The Knights were down a goal and shorthanded after losing Lannet Sanchez to a red card late in the match, but Rebecca Garcia scored in the 86th minute on a penalty to earn the Knights a 1-1 draw at home against MiraCosta.

Valenzuela's 90th Minute Goal Gives Knights 1-0 Win Over Sequoias


Freshman Felicia Valenzuela broke a scoreless tie in the 90th minute to give the Knights a 1-0 home victory over College of Sequoias on Saturday morning. The win improved the Knights record to 2-5-1.

Knights Fall to San Bernardino Valley, 4-2


The Knights hung tough with an undefeated San Bernardino Valley (5-0-2) team, tying the match on two occasions in the first half, but the Wolverines scored the final two goals to defeat SDCC, 4-2.

Clarke's Lone Goal Gives Knights 1st Win of Season


The San Diego City College women's soccer team scored its first goal and earned its first victory of the season on Friday as they defeated West Hills Lemoore, 1-0.

Estrada Scores Twice In 2-1 Win Over Grossmont


Monzerrat Tavera to Priscilla Estrada. That was the combination that led to both SDCC goals in a 2-1 home victory over Grossmont on Tuesday. The win gave the Knights a 1-1 split in the season series with Grossmont.

The Pacific Coast Athletic Conference has given women's soccer player, Rebecca Garcia, Honorable Mention for Women's Athlete of the Week. The freshman forward scored a goal in three straight matches, two of which were victories for the Knights. PCAC Release

Knights Defeat Victor Valley 1-0 For 2nd Straight Win


The Knights earned their second straight shutout victory on Tuesday as they defeated Victor Valley, 1-0. With an assist from Mary Jane Lopez, Rebecca Garcia scored the lone goal of the match. It was her second of the season. Box Score
