Shaw, Leigh-Pink, Houston Receive All-PCAC Honors
The Pacific Coast Athletic Conference has announced that three San Diego City College softball players have been selected to the All-Pacific Coast Athletic Conference team. Meghan Shaw
and Brianna Leigh-Pink
were named to the All-PCAC second team, while Tiana Houston
was given honorable mention.
Shaw, who was also named to the All-PCAC first team in 2013, her freshman season, batted .429 with 45 hits including 10 doubles, 10 triples, and two home runs. She had 16 RBI and scored a team-leading 39 runs. Shaw also led the Knights in stolen bases with 14.
Leigh-Pink batted .430 and led the Knights in hits (45), doubles (12), and RBI (33). She was second on the team in triples (3), home runs (3), and runs scored (33). Leigh-Pink had 10 stolen bases, which was third on the Knights.
Houston, who joined the Knights mid-season, still managed to finish third on the team in hits with 28. She led the Knights in batting average (.622) and home runs (6), while finishing second on the team in RBI (25). Complete List of All-PCAC TeamSeason Stats
