    Knights Finish 2012 Season In Top 20

    The SDCC men's tennis team ended the 2011 season ranked No. 20 in California by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. They were one of three Pacific Coast Conference teams to make the top 20 along with Mesa and Palomar. The Knights also had a top 100 player in Jorge Benitez who finished the season ranked No. 89 in California. The doubles team of Benitez and Rafa Martinez was ranked No. 44 and the team of Erwin Hernandez and He'Bert Sherrod was ranked No. 59.

    Knights Ranked No. 15 in Southern California

    In the latest rankings released by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association the SDCC men's tennis team is slotted No. 15 in Southern California. The Knights are off to a 3-2 start in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference and are 5-9 overall. Three other PCAC teams are also ranked in the top 16 including Mesa (No. 7), Palomar (No. 14) and Grossmont (No. 16). The Knights have a match remaining against each of those conference foes before the PCAC tournament, which begins on Thursday, April 1
