The Office of Institutional Effectiveness at San Diego City College provides leadership and coordination for college-wide planning, research, and outcomes reporting processes. The office supports effective planning and decision-making in support of institutional effectiveness and student learning and success, working in collaboration with all departments and programs. Key functions include:

  • Management of institutional and department-level planning processes, including Strategic Planning and Program Review
  • Reporting on institutional-level outcomes and communicating with internal and external constituents about the college's results
  • Oversight and coordination for accreditation reports and processes, and liaison to the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC), Western Association of Schools and Colleges
  • Supervision and support for Institutional Research
