City College is located in the heart of downtown San Diego. We have innovative, state-of-the-art facilities to meet your needs.
We have a new online facility rental system, designed to provide a simple, streamlined, and positive user experience for requesting facility use. All outside users and groups must apply for and obtain a permit in order to use a school facility.
When must payment be submitted?
Payment is due 2 days before the day of the event being held.
Can we provide our own catering?
Catering can be provided by an outside party, there is a warming kitchen available for rent on campus.
Is a deposit required to secure event space?
A deposit is not required for a hold to be placed on our facilities. A $25 dollar non-refundable application is charged at the beginning of the process.
Can we provide our own custodial support?
No, our City College Campus Facilities Department is in charge of all set up and clean-up for events held on campus.
Would set up time be included in the invoice?
Set up time will be included under the custodial support charge.
What is the largest space available on our campus?
Our Saville Theater is the largest available space, it holds up to 280 guests. Our Multipurpose Room can seat up to 104 people depending upon the set-up.
