A Celebration of Ramadan and Inclusivity
In the bustling life of San Diego City College, where diversity blooms and the voices of many cultures blend, the college held its first-ever Iftar Night event recognizing our Muslim community and Ramadan -- a holy month observed by many Muslims across the world. Muslims during Ramadan refrain from eating food or drinking water from dawn to dusk for 30 consecutive days to become closer to God, show gratitude to the poor, and build community.
