When scheduling an appointment, keep in mind that weekday campus tours are 11 a.m.–12:30 p.m., so if you time your appointment right you can join a campus tour before or after your appointment with a counselor.

Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs)

The objective of the California Community Colleges Transfer Guarantee to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) Program is the development of transfer pathways that will facilitate a smooth transition for students from all of the California Community Colleges to partnered HBCUs. These pathways will simplify the transfer process and reduce students’ need to take unnecessary courses, thereby shortening the time to degree completion and saving student costs.

HBCU Scholarship

New Scholarship for California Community College Students Attending an HBCU to Study Communications

The Hoffman Agency HBCU Scholarship is now accepting applications from California community college students who plan to study communications at an HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities).

The scholarship will cover tuition and fees for the recipient’s junior and senior years at an HBCU. Interested students can upload their application at The Hoffman Agency | HBCU Scholarship.

“We’re striving to use the scholarship as a platform to advocate and educate for what awaits those who pursue a career in communications.”

To administer the scholarship, The Hoffman Agency established a non-profit foundation in California as the legal entity, the LPJ Foundation (entity #5261937).

The Hoffman Agency (www.hoffman.com), a communications consultancy, brings the best of both worlds to its clients — the high touch of a boutique, with the sophistication in services associated with the mega shops. While campaigns vary by client and industry, all share one theme: the creation of content that reflects the tenets of storytelling and what the firm calls storytelling techniques.
