At City College's BICET School, Work-Based Learning bridges your coursework to the workplace. Through paid and unpaid internships, apprenticeships, and on-the-job experiences, you'll apply what you've learned in the classroom to real-world jobs and gain the confidence to step into your career. All San Diego City College students-regardless of major or program are-eligible. Whether you're studying any majors or Business, Information Technology, Cosmetology, Engineering, or Trades, we'll help you find an experience that suits your interests, schedule, and goals.

Engaging in Work-Based Learning has been shown to increase student success and completion rates-WBL participants within the district achieved approximately a 5 % higher completion rate than non-participants.
